I think I have two more layouts and the book covers to make and I will be done with 2010. I have several other books on the drawing board so I'm anxious to get this done and get going on the others.

Honestly, I've been scrapbooking

I know this blogs been a bit slow - but I've been working on projects, been on vacation, and have had the kids home ALL DAY LONG! But I have been scrapbooking. Just finished two 100 page books. One for my mother-in-law and the other for a family friend. The European cruise book was quite a project so I gave out a WaHoo when it was done - and here's a few of my favorite pages. I really liked making pages with pictures as part of the background - or by cutting out part of the picture. I don't usually scrapbook that way - but I think it worked perfect for this book.
The other book I just finished was a wedding book for a darling couple - Allie & McKay. I used my 100 Black QPs (which you can buy for a buck - orignal post HERE.) Of course they had fabulous pictures taken - so it was easy fun to plug them into the QPs. And that's what I've been up to.

I'm late with this kit shoutout -- but I was sick and doing birthday parties for my son -- so while I had my layout done - I was not on the computer for several days. Sorry about that. Combing the Beach kit and Freebie

This kit comes just in time to make me homesick - well, it's not really "home"sick so much has wishing for childhood memories spent on the beach. As it is, I'm no where near the beach! Always Sisters & Freebies

Tracy has the most darling kit out! Perfect for the spring we should be having (instead we have snow). Truly beautiful papers and elements. I was busy with a sick family this week - so I wasn't able to get a QP made for ya, but I did put together a couple other freebies. I've been so busy lately -- and I just felt like scrapping a page. I just got this new kit - Hello Friend - from the scrapping sisters and really love everything in it. I also used a template from Sunshine Studio. And of course used some fabulous word art from my friend at Word Art World. It's that time again - aside from March Madness, it's also time for all the kiddos to start their summer sports. This kit comes out at a perfect time. All Stars, by Tracy, is a fun colored kit with plenty of elements. I love that she included a font that can be used on the score board ... how fun is that!
