I first set up this blog to post my scrapbook layouts on. And now that I have a new project to work on, I'll be posting my project layouts again. Instead of the fun book I had planned for my son (it was proving hard to find quality pictures) - I've decided to go ahead and make a "First Year" book. I've gotta get cracking because I have 2 other kids to do it for also and one more month to do it in (I try to have all artscow orders done by the end of November to ensure I get it by Christmas). Here's the "title" page.

I am SO surprised and grateful to all of you who have downloaded my designs. I was blown away by the amount of downloads made of my Dogs & Frogs QP - it has passed 1000 downloads. WOW - and THANK YOU. To celebrate I am offering up a fabulous freebie. I designed 10 QPs using the Norwegian Wood kit I used a couple weeks ago. A friend of mine wanted to make a 30 page book so I designed these QPs for her to use. Duplicate the pages a couple times and you'll have a 30 page book in no time! I love ordering books!!! Nine pages shown below. When you repeat the pages, page 1 will cordinate with page 10 - smooth sailing from there. Happy Scrapping!

Beach Bum Kit and QP Freebie

It's a busy week for new kits and freebies - but that's only good news for you! Tracy just came out with a fabulous beach kit called Beach Bums (click kit preview to get it). I only wish I had recent pictures of a vacation to the beach. I do, however, have about 13 years of memories (and pictures) of camping on the beach in Mexico when I was a kid. I plan to do a book just about that and here's the first layout.

Party invite

I love to make birthday and party invites on the computer. I usually make them 4x6 so I can print them at a local store as a 4x6 picture. It is fast, easy and cheap. I loved how this invite turned out and thought some of you might also find a use for this fun, colorful invite. Just add your own text, save as a jpg and upload to a photo store of your choice. Super easy and super cute!

8 Values Kit and QP

8 Values for Truth and Righteousness is a 2 part kit designed for the Young Women's organization for the LDS church, to which I belong. They have 8 values that they strive to live and follow, being: faith, divine nature, individual worth, knowledge, choice & accountability, good works, integrity & virtue. Aside from the values highlighted in this kit, there is an assortment of fun colorful papers and elements that can be used for a variety of scrapping. Below is my layout and a few other goodies. I have designed a blank invite for any Young Women's activity. It is a 4"x6" invite to be printed as a 4"x6" picture. It is a quick and inexpensive way to do it. Just add the text.

The next two are both 5x7 cards of the Yound Women's theme. The second has an opening for putting a picture of your Young Women in it.

Little Smiles & QP freebie

I set out to take some pictures of my kids this weekend. Crimany, how hard is it to get 3 kids to look at the camera at the same time and smile!?! Well, it proved to be impossible. I had to do some cropping and editing, but I'm happy with what I got in the end. I used a kit for the first time - Norwegian Wood by Stephanie Ogren - and thought I would offer another quickpage. I love that each piece is a full kit - you don't have to go to 20 different sites to get just a few pieces at a time. All together this makes a huge kit with endless possibilities.
