Party invite

I love to make birthday and party invites on the computer. I usually make them 4x6 so I can print them at a local store as a 4x6 picture. It is fast, easy and cheap. I loved how this invite turned out and thought some of you might also find a use for this fun, colorful invite. Just add your own text, save as a jpg and upload to a photo store of your choice. Super easy and super cute!

8 Values Kit and QP

8 Values for Truth and Righteousness is a 2 part kit designed for the Young Women's organization for the LDS church, to which I belong. They have 8 values that they strive to live and follow, being: faith, divine nature, individual worth, knowledge, choice & accountability, good works, integrity & virtue. Aside from the values highlighted in this kit, there is an assortment of fun colorful papers and elements that can be used for a variety of scrapping. Below is my layout and a few other goodies. I have designed a blank invite for any Young Women's activity. It is a 4"x6" invite to be printed as a 4"x6" picture. It is a quick and inexpensive way to do it. Just add the text.

The next two are both 5x7 cards of the Yound Women's theme. The second has an opening for putting a picture of your Young Women in it.

Little Smiles & QP freebie

I set out to take some pictures of my kids this weekend. Crimany, how hard is it to get 3 kids to look at the camera at the same time and smile!?! Well, it proved to be impossible. I had to do some cropping and editing, but I'm happy with what I got in the end. I used a kit for the first time - Norwegian Wood by Stephanie Ogren - and thought I would offer another quickpage. I am SO excited about this kit and the other things Tracy has going on. 3 designers, including Tracy, have each put together a kit for an October Road collab. I love that each piece is a full kit - you don't have to go to 20 different sites to get just a few pieces at a time. All together this makes a huge kit with endless possibilities. School is in session - guess that means it time for another fun kit! Tracy made this fab school kit (click kit preview to go to her blog and grab it). I already did a back to school page for my daughter, so I used this kit for my preschooler. I also stepped out of my creative comfort zone and did a page with the kids looking out the school bus windows. The kids all loved seeing themselves inside the bus.

Calendar Freebie!

I was so excited to finish my latest book that I thought I would put together a freebie for you. Last year I made a set of calendar QPs for my mom. She always does a family calendar and we decided to spice it up this year by scrapping it. She printed them on her computer and it turned out great. I was so excited with how they turned out that I made one for the in-laws and had it printed at artcow - I loved it! It came back nice and sturdy. If you haven't sign up with artscow yet - check my sidebar. Anyhow, the pages are 8.5 x11 and worked for both printing options. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm already starting to think about Christmas gifts - and this makes a fabulous personalize gift!
